My story of how I met my current partner, who is now the father of my child is actually quite embarrassing!
When I was seventeen my friend and I were being immature and prank calling people off my contacts.
We ended up calling an old friend who made his friend answer the call.
Funny enough after the phone call, I came clean about the prank and we started to get to know each other and after a month of talking and hanging out we got together. We are now happily together to this date with a beautiful baby boy.
It's funny how a silly idea can turn into something amazing.
I met my now ex (!) partner and a Dinner party for singles.

We went each week to a different place and it was run by a firm and not one of the members.

They were quite good fun as the people were age matched.

The first night as I left, he chased me down the street to get my phone number.

I was angry at the person who ran it as I do not like beards and she had put me in between two men with beards as a joke....anyway I ended up being with him for 18 years!

I met my husband through work. He worked in a different department in the city and I in North Sydney. As part of my job, I needed to phone him for legal advice. I liked the way he sounded and vice versa. He organised to meet about 'work' and the next thing I knew, we were dating. Four months later we were engaged and six months after that we were married! It's almost 16 years of marriage and two kids. Before I met him, I wasn't interested in having a boyfriend or settling down, I was too busy with a career and enjoying my social life. Funny how things can happen so quickly.
